Illustrative only. Your earnings are your retailer order minus your cost of goods and Bridge’s fee. Final pricing depends on your supplier history, order size, category, and overall credit profile. Not an offer of credit.

How it works

Bridge funds the goods. You keep the cash.

  1. You win the order. A retailer issues a purchase order. Your supplier needs to be paid before the goods ship.
  2. Bridge funds the cost of goods. Up to 100% of your supplier cost, paid up front, so your own cash stays on hand.
  3. Your retailer pays Bridge. When the invoice is paid, Bridge takes back the funded amount plus its fee.
  4. You keep the rest. Your net profit on the order lands in your account. No check to write, no cash tied up in inventory.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What counts as the order size?

The order size is what your retailer pays you for the purchase order, before any deductions. Bridge does not fund the whole order. It funds the cost of goods behind it, which is the order size less your gross margin, or the dollar figure you enter directly.

Should I enter gross margin or cost of goods?

Either. If you know your landed cost for the run, switch to Cost of goods and type the dollar amount; the calculator shows the margin it implies. If you think in margin, leave the slider on Gross margin and the cost of goods is worked out for you. Both give the same result.

How is the Bridge financing cost charged?

The fee is simple monthly interest on the cost of goods Bridge funds: cost of goods times the monthly rate times the number of months until your retailer pays. It is deducted from the retailer's payment when it arrives, so you never write a check.

What rate should I expect?

Rates start at 1.1% per month for Walmart and Sam's Club orders and run to about 2.5% per month depending on your supplier history, order size, category, and overall credit profile. The slider covers that range so you can see the effect at either end. Final pricing is set in your term sheet.
